Chief Executive Officer & Founder
Franco is a 4th-year Biomedical Engineering student at Case Western Reserve University. Franco begun his scientific career at the early age of 12, and has spent the last 9 years dedicating his life to the development of accessible and impactful advanced medical devices, translating from several different labs within the Tissue Engineering field into the market. After 5 years working in the University of São Paulo (Brazil), Franco proceeded to move to Cleveland, OH, to work in the Regenerative Medicine field with Dr. Arnold Caplan, the Father of Mesenchymal Stem Cells, where he has spent his last 4 years. A scientist and entrepreneur, Franco is constantly trying to connect ideas and reality. His wound care innovations are internationally recognized, being awarded a Gold Medal at the 2019 GENIUS Olympiad, nominated for 2025 Forbes Under 30 and MIT Innovators Under 35, and a finalist in the Rising Tech Star category of Ohio's 2023 Best of Tech Awards.
President & Founder
Santiago is the Vice Rector of Research of Tecnologico de Monterrey, in Mexico. A long-time professor, consultant, and startup executive, Santiago got his Doctorate in Business Administration from Harvard University after an MBA at the University of Southern California. He quickly became interested in MedTech, having started 3 companies in the medical field and working as a Senior Consultant at McKinsey and Company.
Chief Scientific Officer & Founder
A seasoned scientist, Miguel has worked with Biomaterials in the Regenerative Medicine field for over 20 years. With several international wound care patents (including one currently undergoing clinical trials), Miguel's creativity is unmatched. An Associate Researcher at the Skeletal Research Center along Arnold Caplan and Franco Kraiselburd (our CEO), Miguel took on the role of Chief Scientific Officer to help lead our research efforts to success.
Chairman & Founder
A former Venture Capitalist and Serial Biotech Entrepreneur, Daniel has a proven framework for success in guiding the business behind biotech entrepreneurs. Having led over 4 Biotech startups to different exits (including an IPO), Daniel now sits as the Chairman of Asclepii's Board. He serves as one of our biggest inspirations, mentors, and leaders.
Leading our Regulatory side
PBW BioLOGICA designs, develops, and brings to market innovative products for clients in the medical, biotech and agrochemical industries. They have extensive experience with medical, in vitro cytology and agrobiotechnology. Our team has supported clients through product design and development, manufacturing design (including cGMP considerations), regulatory strategy, and contract manufacturing selection and oversight.

F. Asís Martínez-Jerez is an associate accountancy professor at the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, recently recognized for his outstanding research contributions in the 2019 Notable Contribution to Management Accounting Literature Award from the American Accounting Association, the largest organizational group of accountants in academia.
Ixchel Robles Ruiz
Chief Operations Officer
4th-year Biomedical Engineering student at Case Western Reserve University, from Morelos (Mexico). Her passion is for creating disruptive and socially conscious medical solutions. The first employee at Asclepii Inc., Ixchel was one of the first of Asclepii to help our partnership with the Tecnologico de Monterrey Institute.
William Tavel
Chief Strategy Officer
Prior to founding Cassandra Consulting Group, William conducted investor due diligence in a wide range of industries including: healthcare services, medical technology, pharmaceuticals, light and heavy machinery, primary, secondary, & tertiary education, education technology, and specialty manufacturing & packaging. At the World Bank Group’s IFC, he oversaw more than $500MUSD of mobilized funding in technical due diligence as well as ongoing financing and operational support through bespoke advisory projects for impact investments in developing markets. William also developed the IFC’s global health benchmarking program and Digital For Tertiary Education Program (D4TEP) tools to help portfolio clients in both the healthcare and education space become more developed and data-driven.
